  We have used this restaurant many times,when eating in the staff are friendly and helpful and the seating and decoration have a contempory feel. The food has always been to a high standard with good quality meat whether taking away or eating in. No prob's recommending.

  We live in Clare and thought having an Indian restaurant locally would be a good thing. But in the several years it’s been open we’ve had many takeaways and eaten in there several times, simply because it’s convenient and other Indians are miles away.
  They were advertising a new buffet style dinner so on 24 June 2012 we decided to give it a go. I rang and booked at lunchtime for a table in the evening, approx’ 5.30pm when they opened, no problem I was told.
  When we arrived at 5.45pm they had no record of our booking, and said the buffet didn’t start until 6pm (not mentioned on the advertising). We sat for 10 minutes before I went and asked if we could at least have drinks and popadoms, this appeared to be a lot to ask, but after another 5 minutes they arrived with some pop’s and took a drinks order. The pop’s were cold and chewy, must’ve been left over from lunchtime, they were also not included in the buffet price of £9.95 per person.
  The buffet was laid out at 6.10pm, and consisted of - Ck tikka, Garlic Lamb, Vegetable curry, Ck korma, Sag Aloo, Pilau rice, onion bajee and Garlic naan bread. (the naan did not come out until 6.30pm, and even then was only 2 cut up small). The food was overall ok, nice flavour.
  
  The staff were grumpy and seemed annoyed that we were there (it wasn’t exactly busy with our table of 6 and a woman with her young son), they put drinks down at one end of the table and expected us to pass them to each other, the same with clearing the popadom plates and used glasses, the waiter stood at the end of the table, grunted and pointed until we passed them to him.
  We would have had a better and cheaper buffet if we had ordered a dish each and shared between us! Also, my brother has a 1 yr old son, and there was no high chair for him to use.
  A wholly disappointing experience.

  Don't know if they have upped their game since the previous review, or if we were just lucky - superb takeaway meal. Very tasty dishes with very tender meat. Excellent.
